Appraisal Reviews by Meador Group, Inc

As said in an announcement by the Federal Reserve, "financial institutions are obligated to have an effective, impartial real estate appraisal and evaluation program," and that appraisers performing reviews ought to "have the proficiency and expertise to evaluate compliance with the Federal Reserves appraisal rules and guidelines." At Meador Group, Inc, we provide appraisal review services that are objective, expert, professional and compliant with the Federal Reserve's regulations.

If you're in the need of a real estate appraisal review or have questions about an appraisal, contact Meador Group, Inc today.

According to the Federal Reserve, appraisal reviews "have to decide whether the appraisal or evaluation is appropriate for the transaction, the risk of the transaction, and whether the processes by which the collateral valuation is attained ensures independence and quality." Moreover, they "must announce whether the appraisal or evaluation report is compatible with the letter of engagement, which sets forth the extent of the appraisal assignment." Last, The Federal Reserve states that "some financial institutions add typical reviews with post-funding evaluations of appraisal quality for any of their higher-risk or higher-value dealings as a control to aid in uncovering valuation complications."

In addition to adapting our work to the forms and guidelines of our review customers, there are four Fannie Mae forms that are mostly used for review services, and we'll prepare an appraisal review on any of them. They include an appraisal "desk" review, a "field" review, a "short" form and a "narrative" form. At Meador Group, Inc, we are experienced in every form of appraisal review, review practice and the responsibilities of review appraisers.

Meador Group, Inc is aware of what the most frequent weaknesses are, particularly in our real estate market. We also know what amounts to a quality appraisal.
